I was lucky enough to be taken to Paris for my birthday in Spring this year - for someone obsessed with photographing statues and cemeteries - the place was a veritable sweet shop to me.

Some of my photos are obviously Photoshopped a fair bit - however I generally only do basic altering using levels, curves, dodging and burning.  Also, as I shoot in RAW photos are channel mixed to monochrome and either duotoned or left pure monochrome.
I know they aren't to everyone's taste - and I can be 'quite dark' in my work - however photography is very subjective and hopefully some people can appreciate what I do :)

Hi everyone. I enjoy taking photographs but am a pure point-and-press amateur who is hoping modern technological advances makes me look semi-competent. Here is picture of Paddington Station taken last year as a way of saying hello.

Interesting idea for a group and there's been some good stuff posted so far. Here's a few of my recent favourites taken over the last couple of months.

I'm a student in Derby, on the second year of the BA Fine Art Photography course, though I don't consider myself to be a fine art photographer, and tend to shoot in a more documentary style.
